The main focus of this article is security (networking, identity-based access control) when integrating Databricks and Fabric. Whatever integration point you choose, this is important. I briefly touch upon three integration points and I then continue with Databricks SQL API integration as main example (2.3 and further). In this architecture, 1) data stays on ADLS and 2) semantic models in Fabric are created based on the Databricks SQL API.
